Where do we begin?

It is human nature to relieve suffering, distress, and disease by using remedies, therapies, techniques, health practitioners, self-help, and self-improvement programs. (Dacher, 2006)

It is also human nature to look for happiness by seeking pleasure through empty means - drugs, alcohol, gambling, sex, fame and fortune, and materialism. (Dacher, 2006)  But do these things really make a person happy or are they part of your daily facade?

They are a temporary means to an end.

True happiness comes from within.

To achieve a profound level of health, happiness, and wholeness it takes dedication, time and effort.  Oh yes!  You have to work at it.  It is not just something that is going to fall into your lap as a ready-made solution.  You will have to use critical thinking skills, good judgment, and good old common sense to move through the process.

Now don't get discouraged before you get started.  You are not alone on this journey.  I'm here to guide you all the way.
