Greetings and Salutations

Welcome to Healthy Me, Salubrious You!

On a scale of 1 to 5 (with one being "in poor health" and 5 being "optimal health") how would you rate your current state of health?  If you gave yourself a score of 3 or less, please read on.

"Sedentary living is a leading cause of poor quality of life, disability, and death in the United States and many other countries." (Marcus & Forsyth, 2009)  "A sedentary (inactive) lifestyle increases the chances of becoming overweight and developing a number of chronic diseases." (Thygerson & Thygerson, 2009)  Most common chronic diseases are manageable and/or preventable.  Therefore, by implementing a lifestyle change today of eating right, being more physically active, getting the proper amount of sleep, and learning how to manage one's stress, you can achieve a state of optimal health.

When you look good, you feel good.  When you feel good, it shows in the way you walk, the way you talk, the way you dress, and the way you present yourself to others.  If you want to look better, feel better, and reduce or eliminate the stress in your life, then let's begin this journey together to a life of healthiness, happiness, and wholeness.
