There are so many wonderful Web resources available on the Internet that it is difficult to pick just one. Something to keep in mind is the fact that it is important to know which Web resources are valid and which ones should be avoided. Two Web resources that I trust and recommend are www.cdc.gov/ and helpguide.org.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is a component of the Department of Health and Human Services. Their website offers a wealth of knowledge on vaccines, a multitude of diseases and conditions, information for those wishing to travel, emergency preparedness and response, and so much more. You can sign up for newsletters, podcasts, mobile tips & alerts, or purchase publications.
Helpguide.org is expert information provided by a non-profit resource. On this website you can find easy-to-read and easy-to-understand information on mental & emotional health, family & relationships, healthy living, and seniors & aging. This website also offers newsletters and a mindfulness toolkit to build emotional health.
